I cant remember or find where I got it from, but someone made a small VB script that does it. I use it all the time in my larger documents, switching all wires to faint, so I dont loose my mind in the many wires overlapping. Maybe someone can edit the code so it also works for only selected components. If nothing is selected it changes for all. The thing is this: if you continue to ask so many questions that are so easily found just by using the search bar, then people will ignore you when you have a more interesting question So please do yourself a favor and try just a bit harder to figure it out on your own first.

It seems like things are just thrown together as in the example image qythium posted earlier where many lines came into one input of a summation component and I wish I knew how that happens.
I think that understanding will help me adjust to the Grasshopper methods. My scroll program is very simple at present but it will be very useful to me in designing ornamental ironwork, and I can see other projects down the road for other decorative element programs. It is a challenge! Data trees are a series of lists.
Components generally operate on all elements of the tree, that is, every item in every branch. At NBBJ in , one of my most pressing interests was to develop infrastructure that supported internal product deployment and good code hygiene and modularity.
One of the goals on the tool-maker side of the equation was to reduce the complexity of access to data in a visual programming environment specifically Grasshopper , by providing a UX that simulated the way that a textual environment uses scoped variables. The first version of the concept for Telepathy was called Sonar, and it was one of my first serious attempts at a C Grasshopper plugin that would actually be useful.
Stumbling on some difficult data management and flow control issues, I turned early and often to Andrew, who has basically taught me everything I know about C. He kindly and patiently helped me for a few days with my existing codebase -- but then had the brilliant idea to change the implementation paradigm to inherit from the generic parameter component and use wireless connections.
This has the added benefits of allowing users to visualize existing connections, navigate the graph using standard GH UI paradigms, and leverage the built-in flowcontrol mechanisms of Grasshopper.
