I have been a regular customer but am thinking of going elsewhere. Kroger now ownes them and their customer service is much better so that may be the route to go.

Jessica and Nyoka in their customer service department are the absolute worst. Our family has been shopping with them for a dozen years, spending thousands as repeat customers. An order recently arrived damaged and they wouldn't send us replacements, stating that we need to contact UPS. Dealing with Jessica and Nyoka was the most unpleasant experience ever. They give zero effort to customer service.

What a way to treat a loyal customer. Will never shop with them again, and I urge everyone to stay away by a mile. Vitacost customer service was horrible. I shopped with this company because of guaranteed 2-day shipping offered by FedEx Ground through shoprunner. My order was shipped priority mail 4 day service to my physical address where it will not be able to be delivered due to no street delivery by the postal service in my town.

Customer service did not offer to correct the mistake. They just told me that once the package was returned then the matter would be taken care of. The company allow you to purchase products that at the end seems that are not allowed to be shipped to my country. But they don't let you know in advance only until you pay then, they will let you know that is your fault because you should check with your country which products are allowed to be shipped or not! Better companies like Iherb let you know in advance before your purchase the products if are allowed or not, so you won't loose your money.

I just don't understand why Vitacost doesn't address their packaging problems. Recently I was mailed 11 glass jars and there was no padding on the bottom of the box so many of them were broken.

We receive crushed boxes of crackers pulverized even though the boxes look fine. I guess I'm just going to have to stop ordering from Vitacost. I don't have problems with Amazon, Lucky Vitamin, and Walmart. I am sure I am not the only one who receives items broken or crushed? Now of corse the items on reorder are not available or I've filed too many complaints so they just refund my account. It's a shame because I have been buying from them for years even before they were purchased by Kroger.

They are selling health products as "new" but they are outdated and OLD! Outdated, won't let me return it. At 1 TSP per day, my first bottle of six will be expired before I even finish it! I was a long time Vitacost customer - never again. My recent order was sent to the wrong address despite my updating my address book with my new address and deleting my old address.

I was treated as if I was trying to defraud the company. Good products pricing - horrible customer service. Never, ever again will I use this company and I will make sure everyone I can reach knows why. Yes they sell brand names and reputable products. They may not sell everything though depending on what you're looking for. I couldn't find the product I wanted anywhere other than through Vitacost so I was quite impressed.

I am having major troubles with tracking my order or getting in touch with someone to assist me. I'm starting to think the site is a scam! Vitacost is a distributor like Amazon. I trust the Garden of Life company. The product looks, tastes, and acts the same as what I used to buy in the store.

However, I usually always buy products made by a company that I've purchased from in the past and that has a good reputation like Garden of Life. Supplements are not FDA-approved, so I guess some corrupt companies could put sawdust in a capsule and call it a miracle weight loss product. So try to buy products only from companies you've used before and trust, that have helped you, that have some quality manufacturing label, are made in a country you trust I buy USA-made products whenever I can, and read the reviews-skip reviews where people get something for free or highly discounted in return for "an unbiased haha review".

Look up information online about the company and use your best judgement. Just keep sending them emails until a more dedicated customer service rep helps you. Or shop at Swansons; they have great customer service. Their product selection is not quite as good as VitaCost, but their prices are similar.

This review is long overdue. Right before the pandemic I places 4 rather large orders for all kinds of items. Snacks, supplements, cleaning and paper products. All delivered in a timely manner. I knew there was gonna be shortages, lockdowns and wanted to make sure I was ahead of it. No problems whatsoever. Granted our mail carriers are usually excellent, and our weather is very good most days so Shipments dont have to brave snow, rain, extreme heat conditions.

Vitacost prices and production are usually made at a high standard for such great price points but pls research your particular item. During the pandemic I didn't need to order anything from any company. Now in mid I am back to place new orders and my full confidence in Vitacost has not changed.

Contacted customer service and and they said it was not received, I Will not recommend this company, I use instead iHerb. I have been buying food supplements from Vitacost. However, I recently had a horrendous experience with Vitacost and with its parent company, Kroger. One supplement I normally buy is Jarrow Lactoferrin, mg per capsule, 60 capsules. I went to purchase it a few weeks ago, and right beside its listing on vitacost's website was their own brand of lactoferrin.

They usually sell for a few dollars less than national brands. When it arrived, I discovered that each capsule contains only mg, and that TWO capsules are required per serving to equal one capsule of the Jarrow. Thus, the actual cost for a 60 day supply at mg per day was almost twice as much as the Jarrow! I phoned Vitacost and spoke with two customer service reps and a supervisor all of whom were belligerent and rude.
