What is azure whelpling worth

More topics from this board Figured since I quested in Winterspring, I may have built a little "kill credit" and thought it'd be worth a shot to farm this pet. Farmed Winterfall Village late at night for uninterrupted mob spawns. Just got this lil' guy!

I'm a lil behind in my blacksmithing and cooking so i was in winterspring mining thorium. I noticed a few owlbeast and thought "well i can get some giant eggs for monster omelets" the 3rd one i killed he dropped!

If only i could be so lucky on the minifernal! Was flying around capturing pets missing from my list. Decided to hit Hyjal for the Nordrassil wisp. Caught one, then hopped over the hill to Winterspring. Echo isles, Pm server, 8 kills in the village and it dropped.

Sometimes you get lucky, I usually never do. I know it will drop at some point I dream that place now! Got mine today! Seriously lucky. After about kills it dropped. The best farm area is to the right of Everlook , all of the shamans and ursas.

The respawn rate is fast and you get some good greens out of it too. There is also a rare that spawns in the area Grizzle Snowpaw , and he has a 0. Got this today. Farmed winterfall village. East of ever look. Noticed the npc's started spawning faster and dropping better loot including blues. About an hour into this it dropped.

I've noticed this seems to be the same on all the whelpling drops. Watch for the extra loot to start and the pets will drop soon. Guess I was lucky. I got mine from an elete 2 levels bigger than me. In the valley as you come into winterspring. Was not even farming him just questing. You've collected 0 pets.

Comment by Allakhazam After about 2 hours one dropped from one of the scalebane guys. I am a skinner so after all the dragons I killed plus the greens and to BOE blues that I sold quickly I made about g in profit, gonna try and turn this whelp for a profit if I can.

I think all total I farmed for about six hours spread out over three days until I finally got mine tonight off of a Blue Dragonspawn. Its discouraging that it takes so long, but they DO exist. It was a Mageweaver that dropped it for me. Not a single blue, and i can't believe i haven't seen the whelp. I'm not stopping till i get it. I have yet to see a person with one in any of the cities i've been in since the patch.

I got 5 blues in the process, which I'll be able to sell for some decent cash as well. Oh yeah, and it was a Draconic Magelord that dropped it, so they are in fact confirmed to drop them as well. On the third day i finally got him after the first 5 or 6 kills. How lucky is that? I was actually farming in a group with some of my friends but they were to far away so they didn't know i got it till i said something. Luckily they didn't mind that i took it because they know I am a very very obsessed pet collector. Got this off the dragonkin in Azshara so those who have been told that it only drops off the ones in Winter they are wrong and you will waste your time. I'm deff not selling this little thing and now im off to farm the Tiny Emerald Whelpling.

Comment by Allakhazam Well boyz and gurls, it is not a myth. The Azure whelpling will drop off any azure dragonkin, Just like it says in the patch notes. Fact that my guilies and i have farmed 3 sence the patch 2. It will be handy to bring a skinner or learn skinning yourself as you will have pleanty of leather to sell or use along with blue scales.
